I'm OK & You Guys Are Great!

Man, I gotta tell ya - you guys are great. I pretty much drop off the face of the blogging earth and you guys still come by, read, comment, CARE.

FRANNIE - thanks for asking if everything's ok. Because of your direct question, here is some "what's been going on with me" kind of info:

A few days after border control with Thomas, there was actually a woman who had, well, become inappropriate with her contact. I met her because of my job but didn't really have reason to be in regular contact with her professionally. Even so, she attempted to create contact between us and even went so far as to leave a message on my voice mail that was rather concerning. (Short story: she wanted to "warn" me about a dangerous person she had reason to think might come after me.) Concerning enough that I shared it with our security department. They were great. Then one day - a day I had FORTUNATELY opted not to come into the office - she showed up at my workplace in hopes of seeing me. She left me some stuff including a hand-written note suggesting we get lunch, blah blah blah - as if she'd never left the strange "you're in danger" kind of voice mail. Anyway, I think things are ok now. Just another one to add to the list.

Sidebar: I have actually developed theory or two about why this can happen, or I guess should say actually happens to me but I don't have time to go into it at the moment. A future post, perhaps.

In addition, I had allowed myself to get into a bit of "I don't have anything to say" sulk. You guys certainly lifted my chin up from that! :) Besides, I've got some awards some people gave me and I haven't acknowledged them or passed them along or anything - which I really need to do so I can direct people to the blogs of FRANNIE, Raine and la aventurista.

It'll probably be a few days before I post again. But I promise to pay up on the awards and post something else, too.
