Two More Awards?!

Fancy Schmancy honored me by tagging me for TWO awards! An Honest Scrap Award and a Bella Sinclair Award. The Bella Sinclair award states by it's creator, Ces:

“I designed this award to celebrate art in the blogs and to honor the value of friendship, sisterhood, sharing and caring. It is to be awarded to the gifted, accomplished, eloquent and talented blogger whose friendship and influence inspire us to do our best. That I named it after Bella Sinclair is because she epitomizes all of these things. She is an inspiration to many of us.”

“I hope that when Bella returns, this award would have already circulated in the blogs. It is my honor to give this award to the first recipients who I hope will find the same pleasure as I have in spreading its crown, giving shade and the comfort of friendship and caring and of sisterhood by sharing this award with their blog-friends and sisters!”
The Honest Scrap rules are as follows:

1. “The Honest Scrap” award is not one to hold all to your self but it must be shared!
2 . The recipient has to tell 10 true things about themselves in their blog that no one else knows.
3. The recipient has to pass along this prestigious award to 10 more bloggers.
4. Those 10 bloggers all have to be notified they have been given with this award.
5. Those 10 bloggers that receive this award should link back to the blog that awarded them

Some readers may actually know some of the things I'm about to list. But I am confident that some readers won't know any. So, to those readers who read something you already know? Suck it up.

1. I am a certified scuba-diver.

2. I can get teary just thinking about how much I love my daughter.

3. I love to play fooseball. Not as in another-name-for-soccer. Fooseball as in, not pool/billiards or ping-pong or darts or whatever other bar-games are available. Fooseball. Love it. I am also very good at it. Don't believe me? Challenge me to a game. :)

4. I do not like to sew. Therefore, I don't sew. My mother and my sisters are gifted seamstresses. But whenever my daughter has torn something - whether a hole in her pants or the seam on a teddy bear - she doesn't even ask me to fix it. She gives it to me to hang onto until one of them comes to visit.

5. Five things I don't think I can live without - not including the obvious such as oxygen or water: music, ideas, candor, humor, and regular access to nature/the wilderness.

6. I am a chronic insomniac.

7.  I sing in my car. And I really rock it out in my car. Once, I ran back into the house to get something and left my car running, with the music still playing. I was surprised to discover just how loud the music sounds from OUTSIDE of the car.

8. Despite my obsession with music, I did not have an iPod until about 3 months ago. (I know, this one still shocks even me.)

9. I can be kind of compulsive about games. For example, I once played 25 straight games of backgammon just because I kept saying, "Best 2 out of 3?" "Best 3 out of 5?" "Best 19 out of 21?" etc.

10. I used to write in a gratitude journal at the end of every day. (Hokey, I know.) Now I just start every day by saying, "Thank you."
Well, there ya go. Ten things about me I'm sure you did not need to know. Now for the tagging...
